“My mother brought my attention to being an au pair because she was one herself after her graduation. She stayed one year near Philadelphia (USA) with a family she is still friends with. In 2018 we even did a road trip along the east coast for four weeks together. Her stories inspired me to think about becoming an au pair myself. This made me curious to experience a cultural exchange on my one in a foreign country. I look forward to this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
