“My mom was an Au Pair in the USA when she was in her twenties, so I always knew what an Au Pair was. We are still in contact with her host family, we visit them regularly and they visit us in Germany. I always loved to hear about her stories and experiences she made as an Au Pair. So after I finished my Bachelor’s Degree this year, I knew I wanted to take a gap year before I want to start a master degree. As you can see by my record of childcare experiences, I always loved to work with children, either it was spending time with them at summer camp or teaching them swimming and gymnastics. It just makes me happy to create for them an environment where they can make the best memories of their childhood. I would love to become part of another family and just experience their daily lives, get to know their culture and traditions.”
