“I would love to become an au pair because I love spending time with children and working with children often involves not only creative activities but also being active. Furthermore I want to gain more experience in childcare. Since I am thinking about becoming a teacher this is the perfect opportunity to confirm that I want to work with children in the future. By spending a long period of time with children, I want to extend my experiences as a tutor and babysitter. I also hope to form deeper connections and a strong relationship especially with the children but also with the host parents. Apart from the personal connection, living with a host family is a perfect opportunity to experience the Canadian culture and traditions firsthand. I also hope to improve my language skills by living with native speakers.”
