“When I thought about what I wanted to do after school, I realized that I didn't want to start studying straight away. I wanted to take a year off. As I had heard a lot of good things about Canada and I wanted to improve my English, it was pretty clear where I wanted to go. As I really love working with children and getting to know other cultures, I thought that living as an au pair in a host family would be a good way to combine all my wishes.”
