“While I was in high school, I always dreamed of experiencing another country’s culture and wanted to do an exchange year in Canada, as the country has always seemed very unique and special to me. However, with COVID happening, I never had the chance to fulfill that dream. Around that time, I also began babysitting and discovered how much I enjoy spending time with children—doing activities like going to the playground or just spending time together. When I learned about the opportunity to become an au pair, I was amazed. It felt like the perfect way to finally make my dream of living abroad come true, while also combining it with my love for working with children, who are always so curious and open to everything.”
