“I’ve always wanted to take a gap year between school and university. I also really enjoy babysitting, so I thought becoming an au pair would be the perfect way to combine both of those interests. I think staying with a host family offers a unique opportunity to experience a country from a more authentic and personal perspective than you would get as a tourist.”
