“I want to become an au pair and live with a host family because I believe it’s a good opportunity to get to know a new culture while doing something I enjoy. I’m eager to build a strong bond with a family, share my own culture, and learn from theirs. While I believe I am independent to an extent I want to gain the ability to live without depending on all the support I received growing up. Living with a host family also gives me a feeling of safety which is an aspect I find important and had been a crucial point while deciding what I want to do after finishing school. Since I am very open and easy get along with the people I meet, I think living together with a family will work well for me. Having experience with taking care of children, especially when problems between them occur, I should be able to live with children and looking after them well.”
