“My mother was an au pair in the USA when she was my age, and her stories about working with children, learning a new language, and experiencing another culture inspired me to want the same. For over half a year, I have worked in a third-grade class at a primary school in Basel, which I truly enjoy. After high school, I completed a one-year internship in an after-school care program and coached children in volleyball for over two years. These experiences showed me how fulfilling it is to support children, especially through creative and sporty activities that help them grow and gain confidence.
