“It has always been a great wish of mine to go abroad for an extended period of time after my graduation, which is certainly influenced by the fact that many members of my family have done the same and traveled the world extensively. For example, my sister was an exchange student in a host family, and my mum and uncles traveled a lot in their younger years. As for me, I can’t wait to experience new things, cultures, and people, face new challenges, and travel the world as well. That’s why, in my opinion, an au pair year is the best way to grow and learn so many new things, including taking on responsibilities. Especially since I have a lot of contact with children in my own environment and love spending time with them and caring for them, I would love to experience all of this with a host family and have a second home abroad.”
